Robotic Process Automation (RPA) - We use Robotics process automation technology to build and deploy the software robots that works more like human interacting with digital systems and software’s. The team plays a vital role in the firm's growth strategy by helping several functions:

  • People & Community – Manage and drive key services encompassing employee experience, onboarding and offboarding, learning, mobility experience, visas, U.S. experience and university hiring, alumni experience, and Oracle HRIS support and reporting.
  • RPCOE - Ensure all audit reports, audit-related letters, and SOC reports are processed and delivered in line with Grant Thornton brand guidelines.
  • Procurement - Works with the U.S. Strategic Sourcing and Procurement Services on vendor, procurement, and invoice management.
  • Workplace Solution – Provide support in the area of report processing, proofreading, and formatting of client deliverables, and also provide administrative support for office services like travel booking and expense reporting.
  • Risk & Compliance – Manages key compliance processes to ensure Grant Thornton conducts its business in compliance with laws and regulations and professional standards.

Learn more --> The Grant Thornton INDUS Independence & Ethical Matters team is responsible for safeguarding the firm from various non-compliance implications, such as reputational and financial loss, sanctions, litigation, and financial penalties. Often termed as a system that safeguards the firm’s ethical wall, the team supports the U.S. firm and makes sure that the firm operates in accordance with the guidelines set forth by various regulators such as the SEC, AICPA, PCAOB, and IFAC.

The firm’s quality and risk are managed through the conflict checking process, also referred to as Relationship Checks which serves as the clearance avenue for every prospective engagement or client opportunity that Grant Thornton (U.S. and International) receives. I&EM further evaluates the firm’s self-reporting compliance, and in order to meet the SEC’s safe harbor provisions for inadvertent Independence violations and PCAOB’s quality control requirements, Independence audits of the firm’s managers and PPMDs (Partners, Principals, Managing Directors and Directors) are carried out on a rotational basis. Along with maintaining various restricted lists that provide updated details of the firm’s restricted clients and affiliates, the personal compliance of the individuals subject to the Independence requirement is closely monitored through platforms such as Independence Certification (INC) and Global Independence System (GIS) to ensure they are compliant with the firm's policies as outlined in the Independence manuals.
